Remuneration:   The total available budget for this assignment is £6,750 – calculated at a rate of £450 per day (15 days).

The role:

Kaleidoscope Trust is seeking the services of a consultant/team of consultants in the development of Standard Sub-granting Procedures to guide the sub-grants administration and management process for Kaleidoscope Trust and partners under the above-mentioned project.

Kaleidoscope Trust's previous experience with sub-granting has been either ad-hoc or tailored to partners’ circumstances at the time of sub-granting. We seek to strengthen our sub-granting framework in order to systematically administer and manage sub-grants to downstream partners and ensure processes are streamlined, thereby reducing the compliance burden to the partner and improving transparency and accountability. The consultant/team of consultants will work closely with Kaleidoscope Trust’s Programmes and Finance teams to develop the Standard Procedures. The relevant Programme Manager will act as the link to other staff members and will ensure their views and inputs are taken into consideration while developing the Standard Procedures.

The main objective of this consultancy is to develop Standard Sub-granting Procedures for Kaleidoscope Trust. The document, which could take the form of a guide or a manual, is expected to outline sub-granting administration and management processes and requirements, including, but not limited to: compliance, selection and vetting of proposals, audits and reviews, reporting and grant close-out.

The Standard Procedures will include templates and tools to be used by Kaleidoscope Trust and partners in the administration and management of the sub-grants.
