Where we work

Kaleidoscope Trust is part of the global LGBTI+ human rights movement. We are based in the UK, where we work with Government and other partners to advocate for LGBTI+ people across the Commonwealth and beyond.

This map shows the areas where we are currently supporting partners to carry out on-the-ground work to help ensure all LGBTI+ people can live free, safe and equal lives. Because of the sensitivities of working in jurisdictions with high levels of discrimination against LGBTI+ people, some of the countries in which we are currently supporting work are not listed.

1. Africa: including Botswana, Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa and Zambia

2. Asia: including Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Thailand

3. Caribbean:  including Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines

4. Europe: Kaleidoscope Trust is based in London, UK and works with the Government and civil society in the UK and beyond

5. Pacific: including Fiji and Tonga

We also host the Secretariat to The Commonwealth Equality Network which brings together representatives from LGBTI+ rights organisations in 46 Commonwealth countries. More information on the Network is available here.

Examples of work we've supported around the world

We work with LGBTI+ activists and organisations in over 25 countries to ensure they have the funding, skills and training to change hearts and minds. Your donation helps us to support projects across the Commonwealth and beyond.
