For over a century, the global fight for LGBTI+ rights has moved in cycles of progress and pushback. Our path to equality has never been linear, and it has never been without resistance.
Today, we stand at a critical crossroads. Around the world, we are witnessing a coordinated, well-funded effort to reverse hard-won gains: In response to this escalating crisis, Kaleidoscope Trust has launched the Global LGBTI+ Rights Commission: a time-bound, global initiative designed to understand, confront, and respond to the escalating rollback of LGBTI+ rights. At its core, the Commission seeks to answer three urgent questions:

The Global LGBTI+ Rights Commission is grounded in robust evidence, insights, and data. Publications from the Commission are now live, with more in development. Together, they aim to inform action and strengthen the global response to the rollback of LGBTI+ rights.
