Kaleidoscope Trust Releases Video on LGBTI Rights in the Commonwealth
November 23, 2015
More than 90% of Commonwealth citizens live in a jurisdiction where LGBTI people are criminalised, face violence, discrimination and significant barriers in accessing their rights to health, employment and education.
For the first time in its history The Commonwealth People’s Forum, which opens today in Malta will host LGBTI activists in dialogue with policy makers to consider what Commonwealth institutions and member states can do to protect the rights of LGBTI people.
Listen to what some of these activists have to say about what keeps them resilient in the face of adversity.
