The Commonwealth Equality Network brings together 66 LGBT+ organisations from 47 Commonwealth countries. This programme supports the work of the Network and its members in addressing inequality and discrimination faced by LGBTQ2I people, communities and organisations in the Commonwealth.
As part of Kaleidoscope Trust’s work to build and support The Commonwealth Equality Network and its collective goals, this programmes aims to enhance the visibility of and reference to LGBTI+ rights and issues in Commonwealth spaces and documents, increase the mainstreaming of LGBTI+ rights and issues through intersectional alliance-building, and advocate for the adoption of laws and policies which protect and promote the rights of LGBTI+ people in Commonwealth countries.
