New line-up announced for the Kaleidoscope Trust board
The Kaleidoscope Trust is delighted to announce eight new members of its UK-based board. The newly-appointed Trustees include the first openly gay MP in Nepal, and experts in human rights, advocacy and civil society:
The new Board members are
Philippa Drew: former head of Global Issues, Foreign and Commonwealth Office
John Fingleton: ex-Chief Executive of the Office of Fair Trading
Geoffrey Jonkers: Senior Manager at the Institute of War and Peace Reporting
Sinéad McBrearty: Social Enterprise strategist
Sunil Pant: former Member of Parliament, Nepal
David Sampson: Deputy Director of the Baring Foundation
Sir Stephen Wall: former UK Permanent Representative at the European Union
Sean Winnett: Foreign and Commonwealth Office human rights expert
Lance Price, Executive Director, said:
It is a privilege to welcome such talented and committed individuals to the board of trustees. They bring a range of experience and skills that will greatly support our work around the world in defence of human rights for LGBT people.
He also paid tribute to those former Trustees who are standing down at the end of their three-year terms of office, Alan Wardle, Mark Watson and Mark Palmer-Edgecumbe.
