Kaleidoscope Trust's Annual IDAHOBIT Lecture 2016

On Tuesday the 10th of May 2016 the Trust will host our 4th Annual Lecture to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) focusing on the global theme for IDAHOBIT 2016: Mental Health and Wellbeing.

The panel of speakers includes:

Ms Aderonke Apata, Nigerian lesbian activist speaking on how LGBT activists protect and promote their wellbeing.

Professor Michael King, Division of Psychiatry, University College London speaking on Global LGBT Mental Health disparities.
 
Mr Dominic Davies, Chief Executive, Pink Therapy speaking on clinician training to offer LGBT affirming mental health services.

 

The event will be hosted by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and co-sponsored by J.P. Morgan. 

 

There will be a drinks reception from 6 – 6:30pm, with the lecture commencing at 6:30pm. Afterward there will be another opportunity to network over drinks and canapés.
