Human Rights Day Lecture

To mark this year's Human Rights Day the Kaleidoscope Trust, supported by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and J.P. Morgan, is delighted to invite you to a lecture by the United States Ambassador to the UK, Matthew W. Barzun.  


Matthew W. Barzun was selected by President Barack Obama as National Finance Chair for the president's 2012 re-election campaign. He has served as US Ambassador to the UK since 2013, and previously served as US Ambassador to Sweden from 2009 to 2011.

The Ambassador will be talking about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights from the perspective of the US State Department, which in recent years has championed the protection of the human rights of LGBT individuals worldwide as an Obama Administration foreign policy priority.
