Join us for a preview screening of the Abominable Crime

The Kaleidoscope Trust is delighted to invite you to a preview screening of the film The Abominable Crime. This new documentary explores the culture of homophobia in Jamaica through the eyes of gay Jamaicans who are forced to choose between their homeland and their lives after their sexual orientations are exposed.
Speaking at the screening will be Maurice Tomlinson, respected Jamaican lawyer and activist. Maurice is at the forefront of the decriminalisation campaign in the Caribbean and was awarded the inaugural David Kato Vision and Voice Award, which celebrates the life and work of murdered Ugandan LGBT activist, David Kato.
Mark Schulte (of the Pulitzer Center in the USA) and Micah Fink (who produced and directed the film) will also be attending. Don't miss your chance to speak to Maurice, Mark and Micah about the issues raised in the film and the situation for LGBT community in the Caribbean.
