The Commonwealth and Human Rights: priorities from Colombo to Valletta

The Kaleidoscope Trust, working with our partners at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Royal Commonwealth Society and the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, would like to invite you to attend this panel and Q&A session. The panel and audience will look at the range of human rights priorities for the 53 Commonwealth member states set following the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Colombo in November 2013 and will look ahead to the next summit in Malta in 2015.

Speakers and panellists will include The Rt Hon Baroness Warsi, Senior Minister of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Minister for Faith and Communities at the Department for Communities and Local Government; Purna Sen (London School of Economics), Edwin Sesange (Out and Proud LGBTI Diamond Group),Tim Hancock, (Amnesty International), and Rajiv Joshi (The B-Team).
