Driven by the understanding that we can overcome challenges if we cooperate with each other, they met with government representatives, civil society organisations and international experts and engaged in a critical conversation about the risks LGBT+ people continue to face because of the pandemic, along with the persistence of stigma, discrimination and violence everywhere in the world.
After three days of impactful work in Buenos Aires, the joint Declaration of the Member States on the ERC Global LGBTI Conference pledges to work together to build a world where the #humanrights of all are respected, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or sex characteristics.
We proudly pass the Equal Rights Coalition co-chairship to Mexico and Germany! Good luck to the Lesbian and Gay Federation (LSVD) in Germany and the Fundacion Arcoiris por el respeto a la diversidad sexual in Mexico!
